The Neil Gunn Trust was established in 1986 (originally as the Neil M Gunn Memorial Trust). It is registered as Scottish Charity SC011206. It aims to promote knowledge of the writings of Neil Miller Gunn and to encourage artistic expression in the Highlands of Scotland. Patron of the Trust is Scottish author James Robertson.
The Trust’s Facebook page is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/369470177444839
The Trust created and maintains the Neil Gunn Viewpoint which is situated on the Heights of Brae, Strathpeffer, in northern Scotland. With the help of High Life Highland, it organises the biennial Neil Gunn Writing Competition. In the alternate years, the Trust organises a Neil Gunn Lecture or an Event.
If you are minded to support the Trust’s work with the Neil Gunn Competition, the Neil Gunn Lecture, maintaining the Viewpoint and promoting the work of Neil Gunn, please consider becoming a Friend of the Trust.
